Hope's Horizon is currently seeking a Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner for Substance Abuse Services. The selected individual will become part of a small group of nurse practitioners and doctors. We are a treatment center offering ambulatory detox and suboxone maintenance with residential-in-patient services.

The substance abuse service provides assessment and referral services to individuals admitted, who have a substance abuse diagnosis. Must have Addiction Medicine experience. This is a 10-99 or Part Time Virtual Telehealth position.

Position includes:

• Perform H&P, then establish a diagnosis and proposed treatment plan
• Obtains medical, addiction, and pain histories
• Performs interval histories and reviews current medication therapy
• Provides therapeutic recommendations for managing symptoms of withdrawal from substances including but not limited to alcohol, opioids, and benzodiazepines.
• Provides recommendations for long-term medication management of substance abuse
• Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team including, physicians, nurse practitioners, social workers, registered nurses, counselors and doctors

Credentials Needed:

• Certified Nurse Practitioner
• DEA and CDS Certification
• Suboxone Waiver
• Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner certification
• Current licensure with Maryland Board of Nursing

Schedule:

Schedule to be discussed at contact time before interview.

Opportunities for additional days or hours.. may need some flexibility for an occasional weekend.

Pay:

To be discussed. This is a 10-99 or Part Time Virtual Telehealth position.
