Who we are looking for: Our caregiver will be an advocate and assist the client with his needs. The client has a limited vocabulary at the moment, but it is increasing with the help of his team of doctors and the care/patience of our caregivers. He will tell you what he needs assistance with. The client often needs a drink of water or other needs throughout the day and night. When the facility aide is giving the client a bath, the caregivers are to assist in the process. Caregivers must write extensive details in the journal. He is to be re-positioned every three hours except when he is napping; allow him to nap.

Requirements

• Must be able to provide verification of any certifications held
• Experience as a caregiver in a home care setting or skilled facility
• Must pass national and multi-jurisdictional background checks, Department of Motor Vehicle checks, as well as TB and drug screening tests
• Must be able to meet quality standards of care during shifts and follow standard procedures for engaging with the rest of the care team
• Must possess a valid driver's license and automobile insurance

Starting pay: $14 per hour
