Job Description

Zest Tea, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Operations Associate to join our team at our headquarters in Baltimore, MD. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations, contributing to the fulfillment process, product kitting, and maintaining efficient warehouse processes.

Responsibilities

• Order Fulfillment:

Accurately pick and pack customer orders in a timely manner.

Ensure all products are correctly labeled and prepared for shipment.

Collaborate with the team to meet daily order processing targets.

• Product Kitting:

Assemble and package products according to specified guidelines.

Maintain high standards of quality control during the kitting process.

Analyze station layouts and kitting component interactions to improve efficiencies and throughput.

Keep track of inventory levels and report any discrepancies.

• Receiving Freight Deliveries:

Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.

Document received items and update inventory records accordingly.

Communicate with suppliers and carriers to resolve any issues with deliveries.

• Pallet Building:

Occasionally assist in building pallets for shipping purposes.

Follow safety guidelines and protocols while handling pallets and equipment.

• Warehouse Organization:

Implement and maintain an organized warehouse layout for efficient storage and accessibility.

Regularly conduct inventory checks to identify and address discrepancies.

Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse processes and improve overall efficiency.

• Digital Communication and Organization:

Utilize basic computer skills to receive and organize tasks digitally.

Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a smooth workflow.

Report any issues or concerns promptly to the Operations Manager.

Requirements

• Previous experience in warehouse or fulfillment operations preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
• Problem solving attitude.
• Basic computer skills for digital task management and communication.
• Physical ability to lift and move boxes, stand for extended periods, and operate warehouse equipment.
