Job Summary:
Holy Angels is looking for an RN Charge Nurse to work the 8:00am-5:00pm M-F. This position is responsible for coordinating the activities of the LPNs, working in the ratio as a staff floor nurse, running clinics and managing paperwork for the complex care needs of the residents.
Specific Skills and Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate the activities of nursing staff.
• Work as a Floor Nurse each shift as needed.
• Oversee CMA program.
• Facilitate annual review process of resident charts.
• Assist in the Coordination of Medical Packets per State guidelines for each resident as necessary and annually.
• Assist with Quality Indicators.
• Enters and tracks the timely submission of resident related paperwork.
• Promotes teamwork on a daily basis by encouraging communication and reporting problems and concerns to the Director of Nursing.
• Demonstrates professional conduct, as measured by accuracy and legitimacy of billing, and adherence to confidentiality, accounting, and HIPAA standards.

Qualifications:

• RN with Charge Nurse Experience required.
• Current Louisiana RN License required.
• Must maintain a current and valid drivers license.

Education:

• RN Nursing Degree

Physical Demands:

• Walk, stand, sit, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, use hands and lift up to 50lbs, 2/3s of the time
