• Verify the accuracy of our perpetual inventory quantities daily by cycle counting items in our inventory system.
• Propose ways to maintain and improve inventory accuracy.
• Research and reconcile variances as they occur.
• Analyze information about count discrepancies to determine root cause.
• Record findings in cycle count database.
• Responsible for helping maintain integrity and accuracy of inventory, quantity, location, etc.
• Move materials in the shop for purpose of cycle counting using appropriate material handling equipment.
• Be able to use equipment to assist in the movement of products (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
• Use computers to process paperwork in an ERP system and Microsoft Office.
• Work toward a goal of greater than 95% inventory record accuracy.
• Assist in driving accurate inventory culture.
• May also assist in warehouse / shipping as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
