Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing quality oral healthcare services to patients. This is a full-time position in a dynamic and patient-centered dental practice.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
Take and develop dental X-rays
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
Maintain accurate patient records
Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment
Job Skills:
Proficient in infection control procedures
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
Experience with dental software such as Epic or Eaglesoft
Understanding of medical imaging techniques
Knowledge of medical terminology
Ability to take and process X-rays
Familiarity with medical coding procedures
