Banner Personnel is Hiring a Field Service Technician (Entry-Level) Near Lombard, IL
Job Description
e are seeking a Field Technician Apprentice to assist other highly skilled Environment Technicians for a well-established Construction and Petroleum service company in the Chicago area.
Starting Pay: $20-$21/hr
The primary responsibilities for a Technician Apprentice are:
- Assist Technician in environmental compliance inspection and testing at gas stations, refineries, pipelines etc.
- Comply with safety guidelines at all job sites
- Assist in cleaning up job sites
- After training – passing certification testing to become a technician
The primary qualifications for a Technician Apprentice are:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- Military background is a plus
- Ability to lift 80 pounds
- Clean driving record
- Excellent verbal and written communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility with working hours depending on the operational needs of the company
- Mechanically inclined preferred
