Hino Motors Manufacturing USA, Inc. is Hiring a Production Control Supervisors- Day and Night shifts Near Marion, AR
We are currently seeking Production Control Supervisors for our manufacturing plant located in Marion, Arkansas. The Production Control Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all internal material movement and storage to prevent part shortages and assembly line stoppages. This position provides services (raw materials) to the production manufacturing groups and finished goods to North America Manufacturing Company.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining a safe work area and ensuring Team Members are adhering to safe work practices
- Lead Team Members in the department to ensure optimal performance
- Communicate abnormal inventory levels within the PC Department to Buyers and Schedulers
- Lead and participate in 5S activities for PC area
- Develop and maintain standard work processes for material storage and movement
- Other duties as required
- 3 years of working experience in a Supervisory/leadership role in an automotive manufacturing environment
- Bachelor’s degree in a business or related field or equivalent amount of work experience
- APICS Certification Preferred
- Strong mathematical skills
- Analytical ability and problem solving skills
- Organization: Project planning and management of multiple assignments
- Communication: Verbal, Written, Listening and Presentation
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Ability to collaborate with others at all levels within the organization
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Demonstrated knowledge of 5S/TPS
- Strong character with integrity, honest, and holds self accountable
