Position: Furniture Design Consultant

Location: Mobile, AL

Experience: Sales experience required (retail excluded); Interior design experience essential

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Weekend availability required

Pay: $33,280/yr Commission!

Position Description:

• Effectively manage multiple customer orders, associated tasks, and projects
• Ensure the profitability of each customer order transaction
• Cultivate positive relationships with customers and suppliers
• Meet customer ship dates with precision
• Oversee order completion through the invoicing stage
• Process orders and quotations accurately and promptly
• Provide quotation copies to field sales reps
• Collaborate closely with field sales to address customer needs (quotations, pricing, project work, product research, expediting)
• Keep customer cross-reference and customer contract pricing current

Position Requirements:

• Must have ERP systems experience
• Mechanical aptitude is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of rotating equipment, seals, and packing is strongly preferred
