ResourceMFG is Hiring a CNC Machinist Near Jacksonville, FL

Job Title: CNC Machinist

Pay: $17-$21/hr Depending on Experience

Shift: 7:30am-4pm Monday-Friday

Remedy is hiring for a commercial stair and railing manufacturer with unique specialty construction capabilities. CMLLC services commercial construction markets located throughout the US by providing superior value measured in terms of quality, responsiveness, and cost. We are seeking a skilled machine operator to produce products as well as maintain and operate the machinery used in the production. The ideal candidate is reliable and able to work safely with attention to detail, while also looking to improve the processes.

Responsibilities

  • Produce a variety of metal products and parts per instructions and drawings.
  • Inspect parts accurately and efficiently to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Operate and maintain equipment (Press break, punch press, CNC plasma cutter)
  • Ability to lift, up to 50 lbs.
  • Follow all safety requirements.
  • Frequent operation of a Forklift

Requirements

  • 1 year required; 3 years minimum preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and shop drawings are essential.
  • Basic mathematic skills, including geometry.
  • Teamwork and communication skills are essential.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus.
  • Work efficiently and independently with minimal guidance after training period.
  • Experience in operation of a Forklift.
  • Prior experience with bandsaw setup and operation a plus.
  • This position involves standing/walking for up to 100% of the day and climbing/crouching/crawling/stooping/reaching with hands and arms up to 50% of the workday.
  • Frequently the employee is required to push, pull, lift, twist, carry and/or exert force up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to wear safety equipment, including safety toe shoes, safety glasses, gloves, and similar equipment.
  • Comfortable in an industrial manufacturing environment with noise/vibration, fumes, or moving mechanical parts in a variety of weather conditions, including rain, heat, and cold.
  • The ability to perform these requirements is necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
