About the Position:
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly organized HVAC Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations. The HVAC Warehouse Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of HVAC equipment, parts, and materials. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong leadership skills and a solid background in HVAC and warehouse management.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Lead the warehouse team in handling all incoming and outgoing HVAC equipment, parts, and materials.
  • Implement efficient inventory management procedures to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
  • Organize and maintain the warehouse layout to optimize space utilization and ease of access.
  • Coordinate with delivery drivers and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate shipments.
  • Oversee the loading and unloading of HVAC equipment onto delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling and packaging.
  • Manage inventory tracking using digital systems and manual checks to maintain accuracy.
  • Collaborate with purchasing to monitor stock levels and anticipate inventory needs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies throughout warehouse operations.
  • Train and mentor warehouse staff in proper equipment handling, safety protocols, and efficient workflows.
  • Resolve any operational issues or discrepancies that arise during day-to-day operations.
  • Regularly inspect the warehouse for maintenance needs, cleanliness, and organization.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and customers to address inquiries and concerns.
  • Participate in the recruitment and training of new warehouse personnel as required.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the warehouse team, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and conducting performance evaluations.
Qualifications, Attributes, Education, and/or Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in HVAC or warehouse management preferred.
  • Proven experience in HVAC and warehouse management roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC equipment, components, and warehouse operations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with team members, vendors, and customers.
  • Problem-solving aptitude and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy HVAC equipment and materials.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management and documentation.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols within warehouse operations.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
  • Experience driving 18' box trucks and/or 24' stake beds.
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry heavy objects, weighing up to 50 pounds.
Computer Skills:
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in using inventory management software.
