Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in operating a variety of heavy equipment and machinery to support construction and maintenance projects. The main work load will be in the Renegade yard West of Odessa Tx.
APPLICANTS MUST LIVE WITHIN 45 MILES OF ODESSA TX TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY. NO PER DIEM, NO RELOCATION ASSISTANCE, NO HOUSING.
Duties:
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment such as dump trucks, backhoes, bulldozers, front loader trucks, roll-off trucks, and concrete mixers
- Perform tasks including excavation, grading, trenching, and loading/unloading materials
- Safely operate equipment to meet project requirements and deadlines
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
-Must have clear MVR (motor vehicle record)
-Must be able to pass drug test and background check
Experience:
- Prior experience in heavy equipment operation, including dump trucks, backhoes, bulldozers, front loader trucks, roll-off trucks, and concrete mixers, cranes etc.
- Commercial driving experience is preferred
- Ability to build and grade surfaces efficiently a plus but not required.
