Legacy Supply Chain is hiring Class A CDL Drivers for Local Drop & Hook runs, based out of Oswego, IL. As a Class A CDL Driver you will be responsible for local driving (home every day/night) transporting bulk commodities, drop & hook. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match.

  • Daytime schedule: $24.44 to $26.44 per hour
  • Evening schedule: $26.44 to $28.44 per hour
• Class A CLD Truck Driver with HAZMAT endorsement
  • Daytime schedule: $28.44 per hour
  • Evening schedule: $30.44 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Make deliveries to customer locations within 100 miles of Oswego, IL.
• No Touch Drop & Hook Freight
• Local - Home Daily
• Complete all necessary pre and post inspection paperwork and scale all loads in the yard
• Ensure all shipment and billing paperwork is completed properly
• Deliver trailers to all types of yards and placing them in the customers specified location
• Meet with customer staff and provide excellent customer service

Job Requirements:

• CDL Class A required
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required
• Hazmat endorsement preferred, but not required.
• Clean MVR (DMV) printout - must provide current MVR < 30 days.
• Ability to meet all DOT requirements, physical and driving.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Ability to be flexible with work schedule.
• Ability to physically lift 50 pounds.
