Henry Carlson Construction is seeking a Crane Operator to join our team.

Henry Carlson Construction provides complete pre-construction, construction and post-construction services for small to large commercial projects throughout Sioux Falls, South Dakota and the Midwest. RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Operate crane under general supervision
• Lift, position and place machinery, equipment, steel pieces or other large objects at construction sites and industrial facilities
• Operate crane according to signals
• Inspect crane for safety and maintenance issues daily
• May oil, grease, service, and make normal maintenance adjustments on equipment

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position

• NCCO certified or ability to obtain TLL Swing cab certification
• Valid Driver's License Required. Class A CDL preferred or ability to obtain
• 3-5 years operating experience preferred
• Experience with operating multiple types of cranes including RT and AT telescopic cranes
• Knowledge of operating procedures as it pertains to loading and unloading materials and load limits
• Must have good hand-eye coordination, quick reaction times
• Able to work in confined or enclosed spaces
• Ability to effectively communicate
