Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education/ Work Experience: - High School Diploma or GED - Graduate of an accredited Pharmacy Technician Program or a 240 hour employer based Technician training Program or 1,000 hours of Pharmacy experience. Preferred Qualifications: - Computer skills - Knowledge of Pharmacy computer systems. - Insurance and Billing Experience Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities: - Ability to communicate with other employees and public - Possess strong interpersonal skills; be a team player, and promote positive team environment - Excellent customer service skills - Demonstrate good decision making skills, problem solving techniques, and possess the ability to prioritize multiple tasks - Ability to use a computer and associated programs - Ability to understand oral and written instructions - Ability to learn and apply pharmacy procedures and interpret prescriptions - Ability to apply basic math skills - Some skill in record keeping - Ability to use computer effectively License/Certifications: - Current Pharmacy Technician Registration with MN State Board - PTCB or ExCPT pharmacy tech certification within 1 year of date of hire, paid for by employee. OR - Current Intern License with the Minnesota Board of PharmacyOther
