We're looking for an Independent Dump Truck Driver to operate our client's trucks to construction sites while prioritizing safety and timeliness.
Compensation and Perks:
- Earn 25-27% of load gross (depending on experience, driving record, and insurance premium).
- Enjoy a $2,500 bonus! Receive $1000.00 after 6 months and an additional $1500.00 bonus after 1 year (conditions apply).
- Drive a 2021 Peterbilt 389 kept within the Winder, GA area (hiring radius 60 miles).
Responsibilities:
- Operate dump trucks and heavy equipment to facilitate material transportation.
- Load and unload materials onto the truck efficiently.
- Adhere to designated routes and delivery schedules while complying with safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on the truck to ensure optimal performance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and supervisors regarding any issues or delays.
- Complete required paperwork and logbooks accurately and promptly.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of CDL-A or B experience.
- Preferably possess a Georgia CDL.
- Clean MVR record demonstrating safe driving history.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate varying operational needs.
Additional Note: Please note that compensation is based on load gross, and as such, payment is dependent on operational days. Drivers do not receive pay on rainy days as the truck remains stationary.
