JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible formaintenance and repair of oilfield tools. This includes mechanical and electrical repair, calibration and buildingof this equipment.
DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES

• Build electronics boards.
• Assembly of tools and equipment
• Bench and oven testing of equipment.
• Calibrating of equipment
• Repair and maintenance of equipment (mechanical and electrical)
• Testing and qualification of components
• Troubleshooting:

1. Diagnose failures of equipment
2. Make recommendations for design improvements.

EDUCATIONREQUIREMENTS
Associatedegree in electrical engineering preferred and at least 5 years of directlyrelated experience. An equivalentcombination of education and experience will be accepted in lieu of an associatedegree.
EXPERIENCEREQUIREMENTS
Aminimum of 5 years’ work experience dealing with diagnostics and repair ofelectronics components. Previousexperience with calibration and temperature testing a plus; experience in the oilfield industry preferred.
CERTIFICATES,LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED
There are no certificates,licenses or registrations required for this position.
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

• Must have a working knowledge of electronics testing equipment such as an oscilloscope, multi-meter, function generator, frequency counter, etc.
• Must have excellent soldering skills (High Temperature SMT Hand soldering), IPC certifications a plus
• Must have good knowledge of how to use machinery (drill press, lathe, mill, etc.)
• Must have good deductive reasoning skills
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills

PHYSICALREQUIREMENTS
The employee may be asked to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by thisjob include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision,depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORKINGENVIRONMENT
Whileperforming the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumesor airborne particles. The employee mayalso be exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals.
The noise level in thework environment is usually moderate.
