SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Serves as liaison between programs, accounting, support teams, and vendors. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting high-level analysis of financial statements, project analysis and execution throughout the organization. Assist with process improvement and quality improvement activities. Create, prepare, analyze, and report operational and financial performance.

Compensation: between $57,300 and $83,900 per year (salary is based upon number of relevant years of experience.
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • The ideal candidate would have three to ten years of progressive experience with financial analysis, prior healthcare finance experience a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or other relevant field to position required.
  • Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects as well as strong follow through skills.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, productivity, and cost accounting and related financial analysis.
  • Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organization and problem-solving skills. Team leadership skills requirement to develop and implement efficient work processes.
  • Ability to be objective, logical and systems oriented.
  • Ability to maintain favorable relations with internal and external representatives of organizations.
  • Ability to remain organized and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to listen, synthesize what is being stated or asked, and form actions plans based on discussions.
  • Self starter, with ability to effectively deal with uncertainty and complex situations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to focus on tasks and demonstrate discipline in reaching goals/meeting timelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Be the primary point of contact for all financial matters for designated programs.
  • Provide regular and consistent analysis for CFO, Director of Finance, and programs as part of agency-wide month-end process.
  • Guide financial statement analysis process by utilizing and enhancing existing analytical tools, providing trends and forecasts; educating programs about processes and techniques; recommending actions.
  • Prepare deliverables (reports and presentations).
  • Analyze, interpret and communicate revenue and billings to programs.
  • Recommend improvement actions by analyzing and interpreting data, identifying trends, and making comparative analyses.
  • Coordinate with other members of the finance and leadership teams to review financial information and forecasts.
  • Evaluate profit and cost efficiencies in various areas of the organization as needed.
  • Forecast models for revenue changes and expenditure increases/decreases.
  • Participate in cross functional teams to address key issues facing the organization.
  • Display a courteous and caring attitude always to the clientele, volunteers, and visitors of the Agency.
  • Cooperate and collaborate with program area staff, volunteers, and other Agency staff.
  • Demonstrate dependability and reliability regarding scheduling and attendance.
  • Abide by all specific program and Agency procedures, policies and requirements.
  • Develop personal and program related skills through participation in internal and external training opportunities including printed material and audio and/or visual media.
  • Create, maintain, and share as appropriate a dynamic self-care plan.
  • Strive to make connections between the agency and the larger community whenever possible to contribute to the agency’s ongoing fundraising and friend-raising efforts.
  • Essential functions of this job are to be performed on company physical work site.
  • Perform other program related duties as assigned.
