Position Overview:
The Client Care Coordinator's role in our practice is to promote a friendly and professional environment where emphasis is placed on quality medical care, client service & education, and teamwork.
Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience, with a pay rate of $16-$18/hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, and experience. Weekends, evenings, and holidays may be required. These hours are shared amongst our team, as we are a 24/7 hospital, and have a generous pay differential.
The ideal candidate:
•Is friendly and able to demonstrate empathy with clients
•Able to remain calm and compassionate while carrying on a multitude of other tasks
•Works well on a team
•Has exceptional customer service skills
•Previous experience with patient scheduling preferred
•Previous veterinary experience preferred
•Bilingual speaking (Spanish) abilities a plus
Responsibilities:
•Greet patients in a prompt and friendly manner
•Checking in patients in a timely fashion
•Schedule appointments
•Receive all incoming calls with a calm, pleasant, professional demeanor
•Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of waiting room and reception area
•Payment processing and cash handling, and account balancing
•Accurately update client files and document communications
