Shift Timings: Night Shift 18:45 - 07:15 Hours (Monday to friday )
Roles & Responsibilities

• Looking for highly motivated nurses to help with this PCU Heart Failure Unit.
• You will care for a variety of heart transplant and VAD patients.
• Staffing Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification Successful completion of a proctored rhythm test

Minimum Qualifications

• Unit Capacity : 36 Beds
• Population Served: Stepdown/PCU: Continuous Bipap, low-dose vasopressors, trauma patients, lumbar drains, CIWA patients on higher doses of Ativan, hyponatremia, emergency dialysis patients, Hyperkalemia, Antifreeze ingestions, Home vents (trachs), Sheath removal, CEA, Rhabdo, Precedex, Stroke patients with Q2 neuro checks, Stable craniotomies, Fentanyl drips.
• Ages of Patients Served: Young Adult through Late Adult (18 - 60 )
• Nurse to Patient Ratios : 1:3

QUALIFICATIONS

• BLS and ACLS
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• The ability to stand for extended periods.
• Strong technical skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Passionate about patient care
• Requires a minimum of two years of RN Telemetry/Progressive Care experience.
• Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
• Active unencumbered RN Tennessee state license
• One year of Epic experience
