Role

As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you blend deep experience in health care benefits and product development with a passion for analysis, harnessing technology to solve complex business problems, while focusing to deliver and implement technology solutions within a digital experience. You will work closely with a Product Owner, Squad Leader, and technology teams to create, prioritize, and maintain product backlog, as well as translate business requirements to technical blueprint, work on complex business solutions with the highest customer value. Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Analyzes complex customer needs, translates them into user stores with clear acceptance criteria, and drives solution formulation.

  • Conducts business analyses to formulate and make recommendations.

  • Identifies and defines solutions to business problems, through creation and documentation of systems and process specifications.

  • Creates and documents backlogs including, writing user stores, acceptance criteria, supporting prioritization, and participating in refinement sessions.

  • Supports deployment, business readiness, and solution enablement including, defining, and documenting enablement tasks, supporting user procedure documentation, and creating and delivering solution training to internal teams.

  • Prioritizes initiatives and business analysis tasks.

  • Expands or modifies complex systems to serve new purposes and enhance product capabilities.

  • Consults with management to ensure agreement on system deliverables

  • Work with other product squads as needed on product impact and deliverables.

  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems: Cybersecurity, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (4 ) years of experience as a Senior Business or Systems Analyst (or closely related occupation) performing business development and configuration analysis within an Agile environment.

  • Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems: Cybersecurity, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Business Analyst (or closely related occupation) performing business development analysis within an Agile environment.

  • Ability to understand complex customer needs, translate them into user stories with concrete acceptance criteria, and drive solution formulation with a multi-functional team

  • Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) analyzing and defining the product management lifecycle -- managing requirements and workflows (using JIRA, Confluence, etc.), and performing the end-to-end implementation of healthcare benefits platform products, including creating new client implementations and migration enhancements on a healthcare platform using, Microsoft Suite, JIRA, Confluence, Jira Align and other available capabilities.

  • DE performing in the full systems development lifecycle -- participating in daily stand-ups, sprint and iteration planning, backlog refinement, and retrospective meetings; maintaining products in Confluence, sprint, and iteration backlogs, epics, stories, and story mapping; and performing functional, full regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of stories, using Postman UI, DBeaver, single client feed validations, and SQL (for data validation and bug resolution).

  • You are highly organized and have a strong ability to prioritize and work under tight deadlines

  • Skilled at building relationships, fostering strong teams, and influencing others

  • You are a self-motivated, great teammate with the ability to plan and complete work independently, and partner effectively to handle dependencies

  • DE contributing to problem resolution practices to periodically support applications in development, test, and production environments, using production support tools – Splunk and Jenkins; and analyzing defects to perform system maintenance, execute production incident management, identify root cause, and remediate problems using databases and Bitbucket (to run code).

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs.
