Job Summary:Methodist Healthcare System is assisting to recruit an Emergency Medicine for Sound Physicians in Fredericksburg, Texas, which is in the beautiful Hill Country and just an hour north of San Antonio, Texas.
Qualified Candidates:
- Board certified or board eligible in emergency medicine
- Texas medical license, or eligible for Texas licensure
- 12 hour shifts 6:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. days and 6:00 p.m.- 6:00 a.m. nights
- 24-hour physician coverage with APP coverage 6/hrs per day 6 days per week
- Level 4 Trauma
- 11 ED beds
- ED Volume: 14,900
- EMR: Meditech
- 84 inpatient beds
- 8 LDRPs and C-Section operative suite
- 5 operating suites, 2 endoscopy suites, 2 palliative care suites
- 1 cardiac/interventional catheterization lab
- MHHC has 12 locations across a 14-county region offering a comprehensive array of services including emergency care, interventional radiology, cardiac catheterizations, orthopedic surgery, home care, hospice, urology, vascular, lab, wound care, women’s services along with intensive care, inpatient /outpatient surgeries and more.
- MHHC has been named a Fortune/Merative Top 100 Hospital nine-times in its history, a recent Top 20 Rural Hospital and the recipient of the prestigious Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award.
