Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Project Accountant to join our successful engineering client in Raleigh, NC. This opportunity comes with EXCELLENT Benefits and the flexibility to work REMOTE. Seeking local candidates ONLY.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and sending accurate invoices in a timely matter using client-specific formatting
- Coordinating with Project Managers to receive and incorporate their draft invoice comments and reports into final invoices.
- Submitting invoices through client portals
- Coordinating with Subconsultants to ensure their invoices are accurate and meet our clients' requirements
- Opening and closing projects
- A/R Review and assisting in collection efforts
- Entering and posting sub invoices
- Preparing other reports as necessary
Requirements:
- Business, Accounting, Finance or Economics Degree or similar Accounting experience required
- Positive attitude & professional demeanor
- Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint is a plus
- Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively in a fast paced, problem solving and deadline-driven environment
- Must be extremely organized, detail oriented and task oriented
- Comfortable learning new technologies, tools and platforms
- Strong computer skills in MS Office and Windows applications
