**The Opportunity**

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Ensure?project compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client specific criteria.

Work on load and equipment sizing calculations?

Create plumbing riser diagrams and system P&IDs using smart tools

Create energy models using Trane Trace 700

Review of submittals and shop drawings and participate in the RFI process

Actively coordinate?with all other internal/external team members on projects?

Participate in internal and external design meetings

Promote?quality and process improvement?within the project/ group

Coordinate?with other design group personnel to review and exchange project information necessary for design development

Our primary areas of focus are: Architecture/Engineering (A/E) Services, Defense Program, Design/Build, Classified, and Environmental.?

**Preferred Qualifications**

Assigned to projects for U.S. Government Agency/Department clients. Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.

Proven self-starter

Preferred design experience related to any of the following subject matters:

Plumbing systems design experience

HVAC systems design experience

Revit experience

**Minimum Qualifications**

Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing. Minimum of 3 years related work experience All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

**Certifications**

Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred
