Hawaii Tactical Outfitter (HTO) is hiring for a part-time Firearms and Retail Sales Associate!

Here at HTO, we supply personal defense products including firearms and non-lethal alternatives, ammunition, outdoor/camping gear, boots, and tactical gear for US military members and locals alike. Given our close proximity to Schofield Army Base, a lot of our customers are US Army servicemembers.

Your primary responsibilities will include sales and customer service. This will include, but is not limited to, greeting customers as they enter the store in a friendly manner, assisting with any customer questions, safely handling firearms, and providing guidance and direction to customers.

Job Requirements:

• Clean criminal record
• 1-2 years of prior Customer Service experience highly desired
• Weekend availability
• Work the Point of Sale system, processing credit, debit, and cash transactions
• Receive shipments from vendors, which includes reviewing the order we placed, confirming the contents received, and placing the items for sale on the floor
• Have an active Long Gun Permit to Acquire (must be obtained prior to first day of employment if you do not have one already)
• Knowledge about current trends in the firearm industry and ability to hold conversation about different types of firearms
• Ability to safely clear and handle firearms of all types

A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
