Plant technicians are hired as members of a high performance work team. Technician work teams are responsible for:
-Operating production lines
-Keeping production flowing
-Meeting performance goals
-Maintaining the high level of quality that consumers expect from our products
Technicians perform various types of work such as:
-Operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting high-speed making, packing and other production related equipment
-Using basic hand and power tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, drills, grinders, etc.
-Performing preventative maintenance on equipment
-Technicians are expected to get involved, take charge of situations, demonstrate ownership, confront business-related problems and continuously improve the equipment and processes
-Technicians are responsible for following all safety and good manufacturing practices as detailed in plant procedures
Qualifications:
PRODUCTION EXPERIENCE (2 yrs. Preferred)
Individuals with a desire to learn manufacturing processes including operating and maintaining automated equipment, computer systems and product distribution systems, should apply.
In addition, we are seeking individuals with:
-Strong technical aptitude, proven leadership, problem solving skills, solid interpersonal skills, computer skills (Data Bases, Excel, Word, or equivalent)
-Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment
-Ability to work well in a team-based, diverse culture
-Experience in liquid process or packing operations'
Job Type: Full time (Overtime)
Salary: $22.50/hr
Schedule:
12 HR SHIFTS
Rotating days on a 2-2-3 schedule (2 days on - 2 days off - 3 days on. Then switch the following week 2 days off - 2 days on- 3 days off)
