About HUPC

Harmony United Psychiatric Care is part of Harmony United Healthcare, LLC. We provide comprehensive, full-service outpatient mental health, psychiatric, and psychological testing services in Florida through in-person visits and virtually through our secure online telehealth, telepsychiatry platform. We are continually growing our staff and client base at our current locations and developing new locations throughout Florida.

Our team of mental health professionals includes psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioners, certified physician assistants, and licensed therapists. We care for adults, adolescents, and children, ages 5 and above.

Our approach is to develop trust and confidence with our clients and treat each patient/client with compassion and respect. We strive to provide the best treatment possible through individualized care for patient/client’s specific needs.

Qualifications

  • Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner/Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
  • Must have an active Florida Medical License
  • Board certification in Psychiatry is required 
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with at least 3 years of patient care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in another field is required.

General Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with other medical professionals.
  • Administering medications and monitoring responses to medication.
  • Conducting screenings and evaluations and monitoring patients
  • Educating patients and family members
  • Communicating with other team members
