Harmonium is Hiring an Assistant Site Director - Klassic Kids Program (part-time) Near San Diego, CA

OVERALL SUMMARY

Help make a difference in the San Diego community by joining our team! We are looking for an assistant site director who exudes resiliency and has the ability to generate creative solutions on the spot. This individual will focus on assisting the site director at our before and after school program with the overall management and administrative duties of the site. Our ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, a knack for problem solving and have the drive to help children reach their fullest potential. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the site director in developing programs that are age and interest specific
  • Assist with billing and maintaining enrollment information
  • Maintain a clean and orderly site

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year experience working, volunteering and/or interning in a child care setting
  • Ability to work both morning & afternoon shifts Monday through Friday
  • Ability to substitute at other locations throughout San Diego
  • Must meet the minimum education requirements per CA State Licensing Standards:
  • Completion, with passing grades, of 12 semester units in Child Development or related fields
  • “Related fields" can include: Recreation, Art/Theater, Music, Dance, Physical Education, Human Services/Social Welfare (Nursing, Psychology, Sociology or Home Economics) Elementary/Middle School teacher credential courses or ECE/CD or School Age units
