SummaryTo assist different departments within the Company in housekeeping, shipping, maintenance and production by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Job duties may vary based on business needs but may result in generating, handling, and/or inspection of hazardous waste and hazardous waste storage.
  • Responding or managing hazardous waste spills and incidents based on the sites emergency action or contingency plan.
  • Preparing and managing hazardous waste records such as manifests, inspection logs, waste determination and other reports.
  • Help maintain a neat and orderly plant appearance.
  • Assist maintenance and production departments in cleaning and painting of plant areas.
  • Drive Company vehicle to retrieve parts and supplies from local vendors.
  • Prepare drums and packaging materials
  • Assist other personnel in emergency conditions
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Education And/or Experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to three months related experience and/or training
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

  • Valid drivers license.
  • Ability to operate forklift truck and other mechanical equipment.
