Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Job duties may vary based on business needs but may result in generating, handling, and/or inspection of hazardous waste and hazardous waste storage.
- Responding or managing hazardous waste spills and incidents based on the sites emergency action or contingency plan.
- Preparing and managing hazardous waste records such as manifests, inspection logs, waste determination and other reports.
- Help maintain a neat and orderly plant appearance.
- Assist maintenance and production departments in cleaning and painting of plant areas.
- Drive Company vehicle to retrieve parts and supplies from local vendors.
- Prepare drums and packaging materials
- Assist other personnel in emergency conditions
- Other duties may be assigned.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience

- Valid drivers license.
- Ability to operate forklift truck and other mechanical equipment.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk and talk or hear.
- The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and climb or balance.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Works in outside weather conditions.
- Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
- Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
