SUMMARY We're seeking a Senior MES Engineer to join us. With this role at Hanwha Qcells, an ideal candidate will need great knowledge and experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing execution systems (MES) on site. Playing a key role in optimizing our production processes and ensuring efficiency. RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop, and implement Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) solutions to streamline production processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and IT to gather requirements and define MES system specifications
Configure and customize MES software to meet specific manufacturing requirements, including workflow management, resource allocation, and data collection
Integrate MES systems with other manufacturing systems such as ERP, SCADA, and PLCs
Lead MES implementation projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for MES systems, resolving issues to minimize downtime and disruptions
Develop and maintain documentation including system configurations, user manuals, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Train end-users and provide ongoing support to ensure effective utilization of MES systems
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in MES technologies and manufacturing processes
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred
Year of experience in implementing and supporting Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
Proficiency in MES software platforms such as Siemens Simatic IT
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and workflows
Experience with system integration including ERP, SCADA, and PLCs
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Project management experience is a plus
