Cell Production Team controls plant production and supervise manufacturing operation of solar cell production. Production Engineers (Front-end or Back-end focus) will optimize operational efficiency of production. This role focuses on improving logistics and production condition of front-end or Back-end process.
Core Responsibilities
Main tasks of Production Engineer (Front-end or Back-end) should include but not limited to the following:
1. Process Improvement
•Improve production efficiency of process, especially for bottleneck process.
•Improve production cost of solar cell process by managing raw materials such as wafers, paste and screens.
•Implement intelligent production system to increase labor efficiency and improve quality management.
•Optimize process automation and logistics sequence of production input from bare wafer to final cell output.
2. Procedure Management
•Document standard operating procedure of production operation.
•Ensure standard procedures are followed on-site for production safety and quality purposes.
•Reform and revise OCAP (Out-of-Control Action Plan) and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) as deemed necessary.
3. Must acquire profound knowledge of front-end process in scientific and engineering standpoint.
General Responsibilities
General tasks of Production Engineer should include but not limited to the following:
1. Production Management
•Establish production management system in environmental and quality perspectives.
•Optimize production condition in terms of manpower, equipment, and materials.
•Confirm data accuracy of production yield, output, and quality as well as raw materials in stock.
•Conduct control action plan of production quality.
2. Production Planning
•Establish production plan based on past performance.
•Manage production and material data on MES (Manufacturing Execution system) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning).
•Confirm data accuracy of production order and production quantity.
•Align schedules of preventive maintenance and production testing according to production line status.
3. Production Improvement
•Investigate and improve issues related to production process, quality, and costs.
•Regulate standard training and operations of Operators and apply on-site suggestions.
•Analyze production cost and labor expense to increase manpower and resource efficiency.
4. All other duties assigned by management or that require immediate attention by Team member.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
1. Educational Background:
•Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
2. Experience:
•Minimum 3 years of experience in production management.
3. Technical Knowledge:
•Basic knowledge of production planning and control.
•Experience in semiconductor, display manufacturing, or related industry.
•Strong understanding in front-end process of semiconductor fabrication.
•Analysis skills of SQL or MS Office to interpret data and derive conclusions.
4. Preferred Requirements:
•Basic understanding of solar cell production.
