Key Responsibilities: As a Tower Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Climbing towers of varying heights to perform installations, repairs, and maintenance on antennas, cables, and other communication equipment.
- Rigging and hoisting materials to elevated heights, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Conducting thorough site assessments and surveys to determine optimal tower locations and equipment placements.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to communication equipment and infrastructure.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure projects are executed efficiently and meet quality standards.
- Documenting work performed, equipment used, and safety procedures followed.
- Adhering to industry regulations and company safety guidelines at all times.
- Previous experience as a Tower Technician or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Comfort with working at heights above 150 feet and in varying weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safety.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving industry practices and technologies.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Climbing and Rescue, Tower Safety and Rescue) are a plus but can be trained in-house.
