Hours: 36 hours per week
Shift: 12 hr - Nights
Travel Reimbursement: $600

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R)
• Appropriate state license
• CT Experience Required

Job description

This position description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification. Rad Tech’s Operate radiologic equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes. Position radiologic equipment and adjust controls to set exposure time and distance according to specification of examination. Take x-rays following established radiologic requirements and regulations to ensure patient care and safety.

Position Summary

• Assessing, evaluating, and testing patients
• Preparing and positioning patients for imaging
• Attending to patient needs during imaging procedures
• Applying and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of radiation protection and safety practices

Other Responsibilities

• Completes required orientation as directed by facility
• Follows facility and OSHA safety rules and procedures while on assignment
• Follows facility and Hamilton Unusual Occurrence Protocol
• Respects cultural and religious practices of patients
• Upholds HIPAA regulations
• Punctual and dependent for assigned/confirmed shifts
