Overview:

• The SQL developer will execute projects from conception todevelopment to implementation and support.
• Must be able to develop design documentation and work withthe customer to identify requirements.
• Must be familiar with, and have multiple years' experiencein, developing SQL scripting / design / modifications
• Should be able to develop installation executables,analyze systems for dependencies during installation and install correctdependency drivers or frameworks.
• The daily work site for this position is the NASA GoddardSpace Flight Center (GSFC) in Greenbelt, MD.
• Teleworking is possible on an occasional basis.

Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Will be working with a variety of customers on a SQL BasedEnterprise Resource Program (ERP), EPICOR
• Will be working the vendor to implement fixes / changes /enhancements
• Will be responsible for troubleshooting script issues andDBMS errors and ensuring proper operation
• Will work with customers to help them use the systemcorrectly and provide OJT as needed
• Will also develop procedures / scripts / apps in languagessuch as python, C#, or similar language
• Support products after implementation with updates andpatches as required.
• Develop data acquisition software for various lab hardwareand custom-built circuitry.
• Communicate effectively with customers to iterativelydevelop applications that best meet customer requirements.
• Develop applications (automation, workflow efficiency, ordata acquisition) in the Windows desktop environment and work in a networked ornon-networked environment

Education, Experience, and Certification Requirements:

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Bachelor in the listed field and 3 years, or 6 yearsrelevant experience
• Demonstrated ability to interface with customers andstakeholders.
• Ability to develop applications and procedures based oniterative customer feedback.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills inEnglish.
• Ability to communicate technical ideas effectively andproper use of applications to non-technical users.
• Proficient in SQL, PHP, and APSX
• Experienced in creating user-controlled applications inone or more of the following: C#, C , Python, .NET, or LabVIEW
• Prior NASA and GSFC experience are preferred.
