Description
The Division of English and Humanities is accepting applications for an adjunct instructor of American Sign Language (ASL) to begin in the spring semester 2023. Preference will be given to instructors who can teach both online and in-person.
Instructor needed to teach the following courses:

• ASL 101 - Basic Sign Language
• ASL 102 - Intermediate Sign Language

Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in ASL, Deaf Studies, Deaf Education, or ASL linguistics and significant teaching experience OR Bachelor's degree in any field and at least 15 graduate credits in ASL, Deaf Studies, Deaf Education, or ASL linguistics AND significant teaching experience. Master's degree in subject matter preferred.
Applications will be accepted for those who can teach in-person and online sections. Instructors interested in this teaching opportunities must be located in MD, PA, VA or WV.
