We are seeking experienced medical assistant to perform routine clinical tasks to keep our growing cardiology practice running smoothly.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Record patient information, vitals and medical history into EMR. E-clinical experienced preferred.
• Perform EKG, Holter Monitors, assist in Exercise Stress Test, Nuclear stress test and ABI's
• Maintains patient flow for physicians
• Obtains medical records
• Answer phone calls and relay messages to appropriate party
• Handles pre-authorizations/certifications for medications as necessary
• Relays information to patients regarding preparation of testing and examinations, and handles pre-operative clearance as needed
• Maintains and stocks examination rooms for patients while maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Represents the practice in a professional manner in person, in telephone conversations, and in written correspondence.

Qualifications and Skills

• Certified Medical Assistant/ Registered Medical Assistant preferred but not required
• Previous experience in health care practice environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to not only multitask independently but work in a team as well
• Experience with E-clinical works is preferred but not required.
• Must be willing to travel to other locations ( Manalapan, Old Bridge, Jackson )
