**Specific Duties / Essential Job Functions**

* The supervisor is responsible for an assigned area or a building.

* Responsible for the direct oversight of front-line employees.

* Responsible for ensuring that productivity levels and customer service requirements are being met and that front-line employees are complying with all safety, and compliance standards established by the Company and by our Clients.

* Responsible for directing and cleaning designated areas within appropriate time-frames.

* Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.

* Manage employee lunches and breaks.

* Maintain communication with Managers to maintain optimum staffing levels, meet client expectations, and coordinate facility operations.

* In close coordination with Manager(s), effectively coach, counsel and discipline employees.

* Set positive, professional example for workforce.

* Conduct safety and quality audits.

* Assign tasks to front line team members based on job requirements or special assignments.

* Inspect all completed work for conformance to ABM and customer standards.

* Train new workers and oversee on-going training of existing employees.

Minimum Requirements

* Training in the cleaning industry or building management field is preferred.

* Ability to effectively communicate with team members verbally and in writing.

* Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and to accomplish objectives.

* Ability to handle and resolve problems.

* May be required to work overnight shifts and weekends.
