We are seeking a hands-on and a motivated self-starter for a Head of School/Director's position at our private Montessori school. We are looking for a leader who shares our passion for the Montessori Method. A person who is skilled in building a strong parent community, retaining great staff members and ensure the educational experience for each child at our school is of the highest standard. A Bachelors degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field AND management experience in a licensed facility is required.

Requirements:

• Level III Administrator recognized by the DCDEE
• Strong leadership skills
• Knowledge and understanding of NC State Guideline License Process and sanitation requirements.
• At least 2 years experience being a Head of School/Director at a licensed Montessori school.
• Must have Montessori training (AMS, AMI, MACTE approved) in leadership or teaching.

• Giving tours of our school
• Managing employee schedule/maintaining ratios in classrooms
