We are seeking a Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) Engineer to work out of our Reston, VA headquarters with a hybrid schedule. As an Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) Developer, the primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and implement solutions that leverage automation and artificial intelligence technologies to process, extract, and manage information from various types of documents. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing document-driven workflows, enhancing data accuracy, and improving operational efficiency within the organization. Solution Design: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand document processing requirements and design IDP solutions that address specific business challenges.
Automation Development: Develop and configure automation workflows using IDP tools and technologies, such as OCR (Optical Character Recognition), machine learning, and natural language processing.
Data Extraction: Design and implement algorithms to extract structured and unstructured data from documents, such as highly complex financial forms.
Integration: Integrate IDP solutions with existing systems, databases, and applications to enable seamless data flow and streamline business processes.
Machine Learning Models: Train and deploy machine learning models to enhance the accuracy of document classification, data extraction, and validation processes.
Continuous Improvement: Analyze the performance of IDP solutions, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements to optimize accuracy and efficiency.
Quality Control: Develop validation mechanisms to ensure the accuracy of extracted data and address any discrepancies or errors.
Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation, including solution designs, workflows, and best practices for IDP implementation and maintenance.
Testing and Validation: Collaborate with testing teams to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of IDP solutions through rigorous testing and validation processes.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data scientists, and software developers, to implement IDP solutions that align with organizational goals.
