The RoleTesla is currently seeking a Staff Network Security Engineer to join our core-infra team. This role will provide network security design, implementation, and operational support for Tesla's core infrastructure.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with other team members to design, build and maintain, new and existing network securityCreate and deploy firewall standards for internet and cloud connectivityParticipate in Security & Network incidents response and remediationDesign, test and deploy network & security solutions following the defined change control process and provide high availability & reliability to networkRequirements gathering, analyze, and propose solution to networking needsMonitor, analyze, and report metrics of network servicesDevelop automation methods to rapidly deploy, configure, and update network equipmentDocument network knowledge base and operational 'Run-Book'Must be able to work occasional weekends, after hours, holidays.
