WHO WE ARE:

Group14’s Major Projects team is tasked with taking the company’s strategic development objectives and making them a reality. Comprised of individuals with varied technical, construction and project management backgrounds, the Major Projects team works with all facets of the organization to define, execute and manage scope, schedule and budget for the company’s largest, most complicated and critical projects.

The Program Manager is responsible for the overall success of a portfolio of capital projects. This includes developing and executing project plans, managing budgets, coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget and meeting the goals and objectives of the company.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

-Develop and execute project plans for a portfolio of capital projects, including defining project scope, schedule and budget.

-Allocation and managing company resources.

-Manage project budgets and track expenses to ensure that projects stay within budget.

-Use tools such as Earned Value Management to forecast, identify and address project risks and opportunities.

-Coordinate with stakeholders, including internal and external teams to keep everyone informed of project progress and to resolve any issues that arise.

-Oversee general execution of projects within the capital program.

-Identify and mitigate risks and opportunities to ensure project success.

-Manage project changes and ensure that all changes are documented and approved.

-Report on project progress to management and relevant project stakeholders.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

-Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

-10 years of experience with 5 years in program or project management, with a focus on capital projects.

-Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.

-Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

-Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

-Problem-solving and decision-making skills.

-Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance.

-Willingness to travel to project locations both within and outside of the US.

OTHER QUALITIES WE’D LOVE FOR YOU TO HAVE:

-Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.

-Experience with capital projects in the battery materials or other chemical process industries.

-Experience with project scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.)

-Experience with Project Management Information Systems (PMISs, e.g., Kahua, PM Web, etc.)

The annual base salary range for this position is $145,000 - $210,000. All positions come with a company bonus and stock options. The actual base pay offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the position is located.
