A Day in the Life of a Fabricator:
- Operates production equipment to produce products in accordance with production needs.
- Produces assigned products in accordance with verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to blend welds and parts or welded assembly surface with dual action sander, as/if needed.
- Selects and uses appropriate tool and grit of grinding pads to achieve desired result.
- Completes equipment set-ups in accordance with customer specifications and quality procedures.
- Records length of time and quantity of materials used for each job.
- Inspects parts and documents findings on appropriate paperwork as needed.
- Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly, and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areas.
- Pretreat, clean, mask, prime and powder coat a variety of parts as needed.
- Load parts correctly on to line for maximum line capacity.
- Use measuring devices to ensure highest level of quality.
- Adheres to established policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.
- Notifies management of product discrepancies, equipment malfunctions and/or personal injuries.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Highschool diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in manufacturing strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship is critical.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds.
- 10 hours a day, 4 days a week
- 6:00 am to 4:30 PM Monday through Thursday
- Friday as needed for Overtime
