Position Overview :

The Service Coordinator / Concierge is responsible for greeting customers and vendors as they enter the Service Department, confirming appointments, and assisting the Service Advisors with service-related tasks.

Pay range is based on experience and qualifications : $18.00 to $22.00 per hour

Essential Duties :

Go over next-day appointments with advisors and the parts department. Ensure all parts are here for scheduled appointments.

Call customers the day before to confirm all appointments.

• Call all customers the following day to follow up on their visit. Provide feedback to the appropriate parties within the dealership and help resolve any customer questions or concerns.
• Greet and welcome all customers immediately in a friendly and prompt manner.
• Assist with service write-up and tagging customer cars and trucks.
• Prepare cars for service with protective materials (I.E., floor mats, seat covers, etc.)
• Vacuum, wash windows and fill washer fluid tanks for customers when they pull their vehicles in for service.
• Remove cars ready to park from the service lane and lock the car after parking it. Return keys to Service Advisor.
• Assist in showing the customer around the waiting area. Help them locate snacks, beverages, and restrooms. Offer to get these items for them.

Show off any other amenities the dealership has to offer.

• Conduct hourly checks on all customers in the waiting room. Ask if they would like anything. If they request a vehicle update, update them.
• Conduct final inspection on all vehicles.
• Respond promptly to cashier's or advisor's request for customer key pick-up.
• Bring the vehicle to the customer after cashiering.
• Remove all protective material from cars in the drive-out lane after pulling them up for customer pick up.
• Thank the customer for bringing the car to the dealership.
• Maintain the service lane, parking lot, customer lounge, restrooms, and all other customer areas to ensure they are always neat, clean, and orderly. Inspect every hour.
• Maintain the entrance and exit to the service and drive, always keeping lanes clean and orderly.

Other Duties :

• Operate shuttle service, picking up or dropping off customers as directed by the Service Manager.
• Pick up mail and do other pick-ups & deliveries.
• Monitor shop capacity and provide information to service consultants.
• Assist with opening or closing the service lane by moving / positioning blockers and unlocking or locking all doors. "
• Maintain all windows and glass display cases, make sure they are always clean.
• Assist the Service Manager, Service Advisors, and other dealership personnel as requested.
• Any other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements :

• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen for illegal substances
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Manual dexterity
• Ability to handle machinery safely
• Authorized to work in the United States
