Griffith Centers is Hiring a Masters Level Counseling Internship Near Greeley, CO

$20 an hour Paid Internship-
We are offering part-time caseloads, with an expectation of at least 10 clinical hours weekly. Interns will attend a 2 day orientation, followed by shadowing time prior to taking on individual clients. Interns will be expected to attend meetings virtually on Wednesdays 9am-12pm, along with Fridays @ 9am. Additional support meetings available as needed. What you will get:

We desire interns working from a wide variety of cultural knowledge and evidence-based modalities.
Clinical notes are done via an online EHR software that works on all computers.
Interns will learn the entire process of counseling, referrals, intakes, documentation, treatment planning, progress notes, diagnosing, assessments, discharge/transfer, coordination of care, and case management.
All billing is processed for you through our finance department. No need to worry about callbacks or denials!!!
What our clients need:
As a contractor you can build your own hours. Primary hours for our clients are afternoons, evenings, and weekends. This is a highly autonomous position that requires initiative and ethical decision making.
This is an intern contracted position. Intern contractors will work mostly in the community and will have the option to take on a variety of different client needs (providing individual and family therapy, case management, etc. in their homes and community).
GCC offers a competitive intern contract rate and an expectation that intern contractors will attend clinical supervision to ensure client safety and progress.
Qualifications
Interning contractors must be able to pass state and federal background checks and also pass a drug test. Must be willing to carry liability insurance.
Interning contractors must be willing to obtain their own business name within 10 days of contract.
Interning contractors will be expected to complete all documentation in a timely manner, 24-48 hours is industry standard.
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
This is a paid internship position. Education:
Enrolled in Master’s Degree Program in Counseling, Social Work, or related field (pursuing LPC, LCSW, MFT)
Needs to register a trade name on the Secretary of State Website ($20 and up)
