POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Senior Copywriter is responsible for generating ideas, developing copy from draft stage through finished product. They partner with Art directors to develop, design, and execute concepts and copy for cross channel advertising initiatives in a persuasive and unexpected manner. They are a storyteller who uses concepts and designs to bring ideas to life.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Skilled writer who can perform in a broad spectrum of advertising disciplines
  • Ideate copy for pitches, campaigns, tactics, and special projects
  • Review and edit all copy for clarity and proper grammar and punctuation
  • Present concepts at presentations in an organized, professional, and effective style
  • Collaborate and partner with Art Director to ensure that both the copy and visuals are in perfect sync to make the concept to our Famously Effective standard
  • Generating and executing an idea from concept to completion across a broad spectrum of mediums that align with the Creative Brief
  • Revise projects based on feedback from creative leads, internal colleagues, clients, and medical/legal/regulatory review feedback
  • Annotate key claims and support them with valid references, working with editorial and medical to ensure accuracy throughout projects
  • Communicate daily with Account Services, Strategy, and Project Management team members to ensure all deliverable and deadlines are met
  • Begin to build client relationships by participating in client meetings, delivering high quality conceptual thinking and contributing to thoughtful discussion
  • Proactively managing projects and your own workload
  • Remain current on latest creative trends globally. Stay curious about award shows, past and present case studies, production companies, and everything that is being created by some of the best people and companies in our industry. Only by gaining an understanding of what kind of work moves you and what it takes to get there, you will then be able to create work that moves others
  • Stay on top of the latest technological advancements, including design software, digital tools, and platforms, to enhance creative processes and deliver innovative solutions
  • Remain curious about pop culture, social media trends, and your audience's interests and behaviors in order to infuse culturally relevant elements into briefs and campaigns. Bring the outside world into our work, so our brands can join the conversation
  • Good grasp of the competitive marketplace and the mindset of healthcare professionals, patients, and other audiences
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
  • At least 4 years of industry experience in a well-established, creative role with a proven track record
  • Experience working across relevant mediums based on client needs
  • Ability to translate the science and data into compelling promotional copy
  • Strong creative portfolio highlighting relevant experience
  • Solid written & verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to all levels of clients
  • Excellent written and presentation skills
  • Able to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite or similar software and AI Tools

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $100,000 to $125,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
