These domains encompass wargaming, threat capabilities, joint warfighting, multimedia, and information technology services for the Marine Corps University (MCU).Essential DutiesThe Wargaming SME shall possess the capability to provide expert instruction on wargaming theory, educational wargaming techniques, and on wargame facilitation. The SME shall have the ability to both develop curriculum and instruct training-related tasks.In order to mentor Marines, Sailors, other service members, Interagency, and International Military Officers or create, revise, and update these materials, the Wargaming SME requires a foundational knowledge of wargaming concepts and associated skills.The Wargaming SME shall possess the capability to participate in or conduct wargaming program assessments or assessment activities. The candidate shall possess the capability to deliver periods of instruction using MCU’s Wargaming training program curriculum, supplemental materials, and products.The Wargaming SME shall provide training curriculum development and maintenance services for Faculty Development (FACDEV) on Wargaming and Wargame Facilitation.The Wargaming SME shall provide training curriculum development and maintenance services for participant training in various Tabletop Wargames.The Wargaming SME shall provide training curriculum development and maintenance services for participant training in various Computer Wargames.Content development and delivery may involve the creation of new material or the revision and updating of existing material.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsEducationWargaming SMEs shall, at a minimum, possess a Bachelor’s degree.A Master’s degree in Strategic Studies, Military Studies, National Security, International Relations, or other related field is preferred. A Marine Corps background that includes resident or non-resident PME courses at an intermediate-level school (ILS) (Command & Staff College equivalent) is preferred but not required.ExperienceThe Wargaming SME shall possess significant first-hand experience in playing and facilitating a combination of traditional board wargames and computer wargames.Required Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAble to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishAble to design and write clear communications and present training programs. Proficient in computer applications such as Windows and MS Office Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsAdditional InformationAbility to obtain or have a security clearance.Required to sit for extended periods of time and maintain focus. Be able to lift 15 pounds.Travel in the local area during the workday (including the use of a personal vehicle).Anticipated Date of Availability: TBDPosition is contigient upon contract awardSkillbridge Internships will be consideredRequired to perform work in connection with a covered contract and, therefore, must comply with Safer Federal Workforce standardsIf you are looking for a challenging and rewarding internship with a leading defense contractor, we encourage you to apply.Green Cell is a Drug-Free Workplace and Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
