Playground Coordinator Salary : $14 - $16 per hour

Playground Coordinator Hours : Monday - Friday 12pm - 7pm (Seasonal)

Playground Coordinator Responsibilities :

• Safely supervise children on the playground
• Plans and implements program activities that are culturally relevant, developmentally appropriate, and consistent with YMCA values
• Cultivates positive relationships and maintains effective communication with parents, children and other staff. Models relationship-building skills in all interactions. Greet parents and participants each day
• Assist with any discipline issues or challenging situations

Playground Coordinator Qualifications :

• Previous experience working with children, preferably in a day camp setting
• Experience preferred in one or more of the following areas: outdoor living, archery, boating, camping, songs/music, skits, sports, aquatics, recreational games, etc.
• High school graduate or equivalent; one year or more of college preferred
• Age 16
• CPR, First Aid, AED certifications, Mandated Reporter Online Training and Online Health and Safety Training, fire safety, water safety, and emergency plan training (Training provided)
