At Greater Boston Urology (GBU) we strive to provide the best urology care in New England. We have nine locations across Massachusetts led by twenty-five physicians and physician assistants. Our providers have years of experience and loyal patient communities, and are always looking to innovate at the forefront of medicine to provide the best possible care. For example, GBU has established a state-of-the-art in-house urologic-specific laboratory with both anatomic and molecular testing. In our lab, we do a few things differently because we believe that as a result our pathology services are hi...gher quality. First, we specialize in urologic pathology, with highly trained pathologists and staff who focus solely on urology specimens. Secondly, instead of sending our urology specimens to an outside lab, we maintain a chain of control of your specimen from the moment of collection through to the moment your doctor explains your results. Finally, because our urologists work so closely with our pathologists, we are able to provide you with access to the latest advances in cutting edge diagnostic testing, such as urine FISH and PTEN.
