Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, seniors, or those in need of personal care. We currently are hiring casual caregivers for all shifts. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Duties:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with meal planning and preparation
- Accompany clients to appointments and outings
- Monitor and report changes in client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for clients
Skills:
- Knowledge of resident rights and ability to advocate for clients
- Experience in caregiving or related fields such as social work or direct support
- Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities or seniors
- First aid and CPR certification preferred
- Ability to provide compassionate care and maintain confidentiality
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (if required for the position)
