Job Summary/Description:
WTVG-13abc, a Gray Television station located in Toledo, Ohio has an opening for a sales assistant to join our team. The sales assistant reports to the General Sales Manager. The responsible ideal candidate thrives in a team environment while maintaining the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Must have a strong work ethic, focus on details, and an open mind to dynamic responsibilities.
Duties/Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
•Assist the Sales Manager and Sales Staff with their daily duties.
•Assist in the development of sales proposals, marketing materials, reports, and client presentations.
•Coordinate digital ads and upload them to platform.
•Efficiently work with the team/management to deliver a high level of service.
•Create digital reports and track digital campaigns.
•Track progress on various sales initiatives.
•Assist in the handling of resolving billing discrepancies.
•Ability to perform at a high level, multitask efficiently and meet deadlines in this fast-paced environment.
•Input and maintain select orders for Account Executives and National Sales Manager, including revisions.
•Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
•College degree in a related field is preferred.
•Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
•Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work under pressure.
•Must have strong organizational skills.
•Previous digital ad operations experience preferred.
•Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
•Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
•Energetic and self-starter.
•Work independently and manage time effectively.
